Perdiswell Park and Ride is situated to the North of Worcester on the A38 and offers a bus service that takes you from the car park straight into the City Centre. The bus stops at Worcester Bus station which is right next to the Crowngate Shopping Centre where many of the high Street shops can be found.
The W1 bus service (operated by Worcestershire County Council) offers a bus approx every 10 mins, depending on the time of day, from the Worcester Park and Ride at Perdiswell into the City. The service operates between 7am and 6.45pm with the last bus arriving back at Perdiswell Park & Ride just before 7pm according to the timetable. Journeys into the city take around 10minutes making the Perdiswell Park & Ride a convenient way to enjoy Worcester without worrying about car parking charges.

Driving Directions to Perdiswell Park and Ride
The Perdiswell park and ride is fairly easy to find if you are heading south to Worcester or if you have travelled north up the M5 and exited at Junction 6 as there are regular signposts for the Park & Ride (P&R or Park & Ride Worcester North) along the A38. Should you happen to miss a signpost just keep heading in the direction of Fernhill Heath and once there you will have no trouble in locating the Worcester Park & Ride. For more comprehensive directions it would be recommended to perhaps use Google Maps before commencing your journey and printing out specific directions for your journey.

A Daily ticket that allows you to park all day at Perdiswell and includes your return journey to and from Worcester Bus Station costs from just £2.20* For group park and travel for the driver and up to 6 passengers a daily ticket is £3.50*
There are variations on this price for concessions and also discounts for using a weekly, monthly or annual ticket.
In Comparison to park at the Crowngate Shopping Centre Car Park (the multi storey car park above Worcester Bus station) which is open Monday - Saturday: 8.00am - 8.00pm to park for an hour will cost £1.20*. Each hour after that is an extra £1 with 6 hours parking for £6.20*. If you stay longer than 6 hours the hourly rate increases by £1.20 per hour. To stay up to 12 hours would cost £13.40*.
Sixways Park & Ride Worcester
The second Worcester Park and Ride site can be found at Sixways stadium (home to the Worcester Warriors Rugby Club) just off the M5 motorway at junction 6. The Sixways Park and ride will take you to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital making it a convenient place to park for visiting the hospital or if you have Doctors appointments. Worcestershire County Council runs two bus services - W2 & W3 that run between Sixways and the hospital and there will be a bus approximately every 10 mins at peek time and every 20 mins off peak through the day from 6.44am with the last bus returning to Sixways at around 7pm. This service though does not operate on weekends - also the timetable will change during any days that the Worcester Warriors Rugby team have a home game.

Driving Directions to Sixways
Locating the Sixways stadium Park & Ride is very straight forward as it can be found just off junction 6 of the M5 Motorway. It will be clearly signposted at the roundabout but you will need to head in the direction of Droitwich before keeping your eyes peeled for the Massive Sixways Rugby Stadium.
Once you have parked your car you can either purchase your ticket from the ticket machine in the car park or alternatively you can buy your ticket on board the bus.

As a comparison for prices - parking at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital would cost up to £7.50 for 6 - 24hrs parking. The hospital operates a barrier system so you need to take your ticket on entering the car park and pay on your exit. The first 30 mins is free for pick ups and drop offs but as you will still need to enter the car park and receive a ticket it really is restricted to 30mins. Prices then are up to 3 hours for £2, 2 to 4 hours for £4.50, 4 to 6 hours for £6 and then £7.50 for over 6 hours.
