'Dance at 8' has an interesting mix of Dance styles for all ages and abilities in Worcestershire, Gloucestershire & Herefordshire

Dance classes include:

 'Strictly' starts in just a few months time, lets have everone 'Jump up and Join in' and be ahead of the game.  Dancing has never been so popular and there is a style for everyone. Great activity for the teenagers looking for something Fun to do over the summer holiday. (Don't tell them it's good for them too)

Beginners classes are just 5 pounds per class - Pay as you go. Classes starting in September include:

• Ballroom waltz
• Argentine Milonga
• Easy Jive
• Cuban Rumba
• Sizzling Samba
• Cuban Salsa

And if you want a bit of a challenge and have previous dance experience, try our 'Variation Classes': 

• Easy Single Time Jive Variations
• Simple Ballroom Waltz Variations

All ages welcome with or without a dance partner. 

• No need to sign up just come along. 
• You may join up to the second week - no later - unless you have previous experience with that dance style.

7pm - 8pm Absolute Beginners Argentine Milonga The Exciting and Fun Prequel to Argentine Tango. 
Argentine Milonga is the forerunner of Argentine Tango with a slightly bouncy action to syncopated rhythms. The music is very uplifting making this a fun, easy and exciting dance to learn.  (Not to mention easy)  As popular as Salsa! If you have not tried Milonga yet - Give it a go.  Sessions are £5 pounds - Pay as you go.

8pm - 9pm  Easy Jive classes for Beginners.
You can dance this basic 'Single Time' style of Jive to almost all Jive, Quickstep and jazzy 4/4/ time music. Easy to learn and we have you dancing the basic in about 15 minutes. There are a lot of variations so you won't get bored and you can convert steps & moves from other Jive styles. A great starter dance.

Rumba is the spirit and soul of Cuban music and dance. The fascinating rhythms and bodily expressions make the Rumba one of the most popular Latin dances. Perfect for those looking for a wedding dance or if you just want more confidence on the dance floor, No previous dance experience necessary. All ages welcome, with or without a partner. Classes are just £5 per person, pay as you go.

8:30-9:30pm * Easy Single Time Jive Variations.
Learn some Easy but very eye catching simple Jive Variations to give your Jive some Pizazz.
Ideal for those that have completes our 'Easy Jive' Beginners Classes and want to add more Steps & Style to their Jive. All ages welcome with or without a dance partner. Classes are just  £6 per person - Pay as you go. Note: If you have a background in Ballroom tango, just think of Argentine tango as a completely new dance-not as an enhancement of the one you already know. Everyone welcome with or without a dance partner. £5 per person, per week.
