The Worcester pottery museum is actually called the Worcester Porcelain Museum and is situated along with a visitor centre at the site of the former Royal Worcester factory. 

The pottery museum in Worcester contains the largest collection of Royal Worcester porcelain and pottery in the World and is in fact home to well over 10,000 objects of historical interest. The archives and pottery collections date back to when it all started in 1751. The records held at the museum include those for production as well as extensive worcester pottery pattern books that were started in the 1850's by the then owner of the company Richard William Binns. The Worcester Pottery books are a meticulous record of patterns, moulds, glazes and colours used.
