  • Volunteers are needed to meet and great visitors, provide information show people peregrines, gain support for R.S.P.B. by encouraging membership and volunteering. Training provided and travel expenses will be met.
  • Would you like to be a volunteer steward at one of the finest early Georgian Churches in the country? The Church Conservation Trust would like it opened on Friday am/pm for 2 hours and Sat. am/pm for 2 ½ hours. They open the Church from April 23rd until October 2009.
  • Would you like to join a team of street collectors during "Love Nature Collection Week", 30th May - 7th June?
  • A local organisation is looking to recruit a volunteer co-ordinator for 7 hours per week. You will need to have excellent customer care skills both on the telephone and face to face, and be computer literate with good administrative skills. Travel expenses will be met.
  • Campaign co-ordinators are needed across England (several in West Midlands) to take action on local and national campaigns to improve services for the blind and partially sighted. Excellent training and support provided.
  • A College in the North East of Worcestershire needs Governors to join the board. You will need to attend 10-12 meetings each year (at 4pm) and participate in training events.
  • Friends of a local library are looking for your help with the Coffee Pot Club to develop both existing and new activities including coffee mornings and coach trips.
  • Could you commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week? Female volunteers are required for a Worcester based organisation involved in women's issues. There are several opportunities including promotional work, helping with events and general administration duties.
  • Volunteer Health Walks Leaders are needed to lead short walks over easy terrain aimed at sedentary people or those at risk of poor health. Expenses will be paid and training given.
  • Would you like to be involved in the Race for Life 2009? This event, taking place on 14th June, has a 5km course from Pitchcroft to Worcester High Street. Pre-event volunteers are needed to help with marketing and promotion.
  • Help is required at a night shelter for the homeless from 9.15pm - 10.30pm, to prepare a light supper (soup) for up to 20 people on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays up until 15th March.  Immediate start would be very useful.
